Join the Journey<\/h5>\n

Find a friend and join us as we journey over text to READ<\/strong>, THINK<\/strong>, PRAY<\/strong>, and LISTEN<\/strong> from September 16<\/strong> through October 25<\/strong>. Texts will be sent Monday – Friday<\/strong>\u00a0with a scripture to read<\/strong><\/em>, a small commentary to think<\/strong><\/em> about, a breath prayer to pray<\/strong><\/em>, and a worship song to listen<\/strong><\/em> to.<\/p>\n

The Text Journey is a unique opportunity to fellowship with the entire church by receiving the same daily devotional sent directly to you. Think of the ways God is going to show up when everyone at Mosaic is meditating on the same scriptures and praying the same prayers every weekday for the next six weeks!<\/p>\n

Engage deeper in relationship with your Creator and in community. Link arms with a friend\/accountability partner to join the journey and check in with them every day. Find out how the Lord is speaking to them through the scripture, devotional, prayer, or song\u2026or just ask them how they are doing! We would love for you to find someone in your community group to walk alongside through this exciting journey!<\/p>\n

Breath Prayer<\/h5>\n

The prayer that will be included with each text is rooted in a spiritual discipline called breath prayers. Breath prayers are a form of contemplative prayers linked to the rhythm of your breath.<\/p>\n

Breath prayer has been practiced in the church for thousands of years and is a 1 to 2 sentence prayer you silently pray 5-10 times consecutively throughout the day as you inhale and exhale. It\u2019s a centering prayer for our minds and hearts to remember God within all circumstances. It\u2019s a simple yet transformative spiritual practice!<\/p>\n

An example of a breath prayer is,\u00a0\u201cFather, you are Holy\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(prayed silently as you inhale),\u00a0\u201cHelp me be holy\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(prayed silently as you exhale).\u00a0Practice now. Breathing God into your soul, your mind, and your life, is incredibly powerful!<\/p>\n
