God sees them; His eye is on each one of them. God hears them; He hears every cry for help, every moan and groan and sob, every spoken and unspoken prayer for liberation. God cares about them; His heart is moved with compassion by their pain. God acts to rescue them, primarily through the hands and feet and voices of the body of Christ, the Church.
