They have been \u201cbrokenhearted\u201d and they are \u201ccrushed in spirit.\u201d What can Christians do to help? We can pray regularly for their spiritual, emotional, and psychological healing. We can meet with victims just to listen to their stories or sit in prayerful silence with them. We can direct them toward inner healing ministries or Christian mental health agencies. It is by the release and exercise of all the Spirit\u2019s \u201cgifts of healing\u201d in His body that the Lord binds up the brokenhearted. Breath prayer has been practiced in the church for thousands of years and is a 1 to 2 sentence prayer you silently pray 5-10 times consecutively throughout the day as you inhale and exhale.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a centering prayer for our minds and hearts to remember God within all circumstances.
